On August 11, 2023, under the Nagrik Adhikar manch, a capacity building program for leadership women was organized at the local hotel The Galaxy Madan Mahal. 20 women leaders from Sant Ravidas Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Sanjay Nagar, Bagda Dafai Polipathar and Chandal Bhata Cherital were present in this program.

In this program, Shiv Kumar, a partner of the Nagrik Adhikar Manch, while discussing the 74th Constitutional Amendment of the Constitution in detail with the women, told that the Parliament of India passed this law on 22 September 2023, for which four Prime Ministers discussed. Further you told that it is the irony of the country that the government spends huge amount of money in publicity of all the things but when the rights related to it are mentioned, that law is suppressed in the files. Same thing happened with the 74th Constitutional Amendment Act. This law opens the way for decentralization of power and participation of the urban poor in power. This law talks about implementing the laws made by the public from bottom to top, that is, it talks about public participation in law making, which till now no government has the intention to implement this law.

Program partner Ajay Singhor provided detailed information to women about the social security schemes of the Central Government and State Governments, along with this, they also provided information about what qualifications are required for its eligibility.
